Our Orthodontists
Since Dr. Nick founded Mellion Orthodontics in 1980 along with his two brothers, our practice has remained committed to serving and supporting the communities around us. Today, all three of our orthodontists continue that tradition through active involvement in our local communities and participation in numerous professional organizations.
For decades, we’ve had the privilege of creating generations of smiles and building lasting relationships with families in our community. It is especially meaningful to now welcome the children and grandchildren of many of our past patients into our practice. Being trusted by multiple generations of the same families is one of the greatest compliments we can receive.
We are proud to carry forward the values on which Mellion Orthodontics was founded while continuing to provide personalized, high-quality orthodontic care for generations to come.
Dr. Nathan Mellion
Dr. Nate earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Denison University in 2004 before receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from The Ohio State University in 2008.
He went on to complete his orthodontic residency at Saint Louis University in 2010, where he earned a Master of Science in Dentistry (M.S.D.).
He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Stark County Dental Society, and American Association of Orthodontists. Through his continued involvement in professional organizations, Dr. Nate stays connected with advancements in dentistry and orthodontics while remaining committed to providing exceptional care to his patients.
Dr. Theresa Mellion-Minter
Dr. Theresa earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from Denison University in 2009 before receiving her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in 2013.
She went on to complete her orthodontic residency at Saint Louis University in 2015, where she earned a Master of Science in Dentistry (M.S.D.).
Dr. Theresa is an active member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Stark County Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontists, and Cleveland Society of Orthodontists. She is committed to staying current with advancements in orthodontics and providing personalized, high-quality care to every patient.
Dr. Nicholas Mellion
Dr. Nick earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from The Ohio State University in 1978 and completed his orthodontic residency at Saint Louis University in 1980.
Originally from Akron, Dr. Nick returned to the area after completing his training and, in 1980, founded Mellion Orthodontics alongside his two brothers. His vision and commitment to orthodontic care established the foundation for the practice that continues to serve generations of families throughout the community.
Dr. Nick is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Stark County Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontists, and Cleveland Society of Orthodontists. He remains dedicated to the profession and to providing exceptional orthodontic care to his patients.
